Most countries’ national colors symbolize similar things.
When used, red is usually the symbol of hardiness and valor or a country’s struggle.
White represents purity and innocence or peace and unity.
While blue stands for vigilance, perseverance, justice, and qualities like bravery and loyalty.
With all proper respect to this nation, red, white, and blue are beautiful colors for party decor.
The palette plays so well together. Your designs will quickly come together with this patriotic palette.

Table Decor Ideas
If you study the photos from the inspiration tables today, you will find some reoccurring design ideas and strategies that you can put to use in your tablescapes.
Laying the Foundation
A great way to begin is to choose a tablecloth or table runner.
This will become your foundation and can help set the tone and color theme for your overall design.
Choose a Color Palette
It can be helpful to choose a color theme to guide you.
You can elect to keep the base layers simple and subtle, let your dishware, napkins, or centerpiece have more prominence, and hold center stage.
Alternatively, choose a bold color or strong pattern for the table linens and let that be your main focal point.
Layering Objects on the Table
Next, let’s choose placemats, plate chargers, napkins, or napkin rings.
The layering of materials all contributes to a beautiful tablescape.
But it’s not essential to use any or all of them. There are no rules. Use what you love!
Use One Main pattern, or Try Mixing patterns
Select and arrange your plates, flatware, and glassware.
Experiment with matched sets or mix them up to incorporate different patterns and colors.
Mixing Textures and Surfaces
Play around and try using items with different surfaces and characteristics.
This makes the table more interesting.
Choose a combination of surfaces that work with your design, such as wood, glass, ceramic, clay, burlap, metal, or wicker.
A good guideline is to have a shorter centerpiece so that your guests are able to see and talk to one another.
Create one large centerpiece, multiple bouquets, vases, or votives the same size in a row down the center of the table, or stagger the height from the center out.
Table Decor and Accessories
Add the final touches. If you have additional accessories, for example, candles, serving dishes, votives, or place-setting gifts, arrange those now.
Beyond the Table
Keep in mind what surrounds your table too!
Consider hanging streamers or banners overhead for special celebrations. See the stars in the photo below.
Add pillows or cushions to keep your guests comfortable.
Try hanging lights, mini chandeliers, or paper mâché shapes from the trees if you are outside or from light fixtures in your indoor rooms.
For outside entertaining, arrange flower pots, planters, or light fixtures nearby for added ambiance.
Your beautiful summer table decor is ready for your guests!
