Halloween Table Linens
Let’s start with choosing your base, a simple or decorative table covering.
This first layer will give you a hint of color or pattern and protects your table too. It’s step one in layering your table decorations.
You can use a placemat, table runner, or cloth. Or just a piece of fabric, maybe a white cheesecloth, or simply a white sheet.
Get creative. Anything goes this time of year.

Choose table linen that is in contrast to your dinnerware.
For instance, if plates and accessories are bold, consider choosing a more subdued pattern, such as a solid color, stripe, or quiet print.
On the other hand, pick a base layer with more vibrancy if your dishes are simple.
Below are a few festive options for your table decor.

Your imaginative table will come together quickly when you have a few fun Halloween-inspired pieces.
Remember, for this holiday, more is more. So I would not worry too much about overdoing it.
That said, there is always room for simplicity and glamour. I just have not explored that angle today. LOL
It’s easy to find everything you need in Halloween dishes and serving ware at your local department, discount and thrift store, and, of course, Amazon. Basically, everywhere!

Halloween Party Decor
Consider layering your Halloween decor with various sizes, colors, and textures of accessories, but don’t forget to leave room for your guests to eat. 😂
Some fun decorating ideas would be to add a ghoulish Halloween centerpiece, glass pumpkins, a skeleton hand, fresh flowers, or a decorated cake to the center of your table.
Carve your own pumpkin and add it to a side table with these cute pumpkin carving stencils.
Include individual accompaniments to each table setting, such as name cards, a Halloween dish, a mug, a candle, or a present.
To complete the effect, be sure to dress up in your favorite Halloween costume!

Include a touch of holiday decor in the guest bath or a party display on the kitchen island or counter.
