I have lots of great ideas for how to organize your jewelry. You probably already know this is challenging if you have a lot of it.
The older you get, the more jewelry you may acquire through personal and fun indulgences, inheritance, or gifts.
It isn’t easy to let go of anything because it is all meaningful, even if you don’t wear it anymore! Therein lies the problem. 😂
My friend Jennifer Magozzi is sharing her new and wonderful jewelry organization system with us today. I know it will inspire you!
I also included other jewelry organization products and DIY ideas to help tame your jewelry collection and start to enjoy it. Let’s get started!

Best Way to Store Jewelry
Organizing jewelry in a way that works for you and your collection can take time and effort.
Do you have chains and necklaces that get tangled? Do you want to see everything simultaneously to pick what goes best with your outfit?
You may prefer a simple jewelry box that holds everything together.
The first tip for organizing your jewelry is to designate a space for it.
What area of your home works for this? A bedroom, hallway, or bathroom?
What specific location works best; on top of a dresser, in a drawer, or hanging on a wall? Do you want it on display, hidden, or locked up?
It is a personal choice of what works for your home, lifestyle, and the amount and value of your jewelry.
Organizing 101; keep the things you often wear in an easy-to-access place. That way, you always know where it goes when you take it off and where to find it when you want to wear it.
It’s also most manageable to keep similar items together.
For example, have all of your necklaces in one place, earrings in one place, and maybe special occasion jewelry altogether.

Unless you’re keeping your jewelry in a box that you’ve had for years (and hey, no judgment here!), you’ll probably want to find products that fit your space and where you plan to store your jewelry. I’ve compiled a list of some of my favorite jewelry storage options for any jewelry area.
Jewelry Display Trays
Let’s start with Jennifer’s jewelry trays. This jewelry drawer organizer (below) is the one she purchased from Amazon.
It is affordable, super functional, large, and flexible! Hidden away but easily accessible. I’d give it an A+.

This multi-piece set below can help you achieve the same functionality as above with a slightly different look. Smaller compartments are perfect for earrings, and there are designated spots for rings.

Necklace Holder Stand
Avoid the dreaded tangled necklace chain and hang your jewelry instead. Jewelry trees and other displays are a fantastic way to avoid tangles.
Jewelry Organizer Stand
If you want to display your jewelry more out in the open, this simple white and wood stand goes with any home decor. A bonus is that you can hang your necklaces and bracelets without getting tangled.
These simple tree stands are excellent for keeping things like necklaces, watches, and bracelets intact. They can provide a home for dangly earrings as well.
The Jewelry Box
Below are two very different jewelry box options.
The first option is my favorite. Very pretty yet full of function. It would make a beautiful gift!
The acrylic version is a workhorse, with four jewelry drawers and two earring holders that are perfect for someone with many rings, earrings, and smaller jewelry pieces.
If space is limited, this box is perfect for storing a smaller jewelry collection and fits easily into a drawer.
Wall Hanging Jewelry Organizer
These wall organizers are fantastic because they have ample room for your jewels but don’t require any drawers or counter space.
If you’re like me, it may be easier to find an available wall. You could even hang one in a more secluded spot in your closet or bathroom.
Travel Jewelry Organizer
While traveling, instead of throwing your valuables into a ziplock bag, pamper yourself and upgrade to a lovely jewelry case.
These organizers offer various-size compartments for all your parts and pieces yet have a low profile and will pack easily.
Monogrammed Travel Jewelry Case
A personalized jewelry holder makes a great gift idea! Customize a case with initials. Many colors and designs are available.
How to Organize Earrings
Whether you prefer to display or hide away your earrings, these two holders do an excellent job and look good simultaneously!

Guys like jewelry too! Here are two attractive options that help corral watches, sunglasses, or cufflinks. (But these cases work well for women too!)

Where to Buy
Amazon has many great options for finding jewelry-organizing products! In addition, check local home decorating and discount stores.
Try retailers such as Target, Bed Bath and Beyond, or Walmart.
You could also look at your local interior design home shop, boutique, or jewelry store. Another great resource is an organization-specific store, such as The Container Store.
Check for items such as jewelry boxes, stackable jewelry organizers, and ring and earring organizers at all of these locations.
Remember, you can also repurpose other household products to hold or hang jewelry, such as decorative hooks, drawers, and pretty boxes.
Happy organizing! I want to hear about all of your jewelry organization’s success stories, please! 😃🙏🏻
