This keto-friendly, low/no sugar, zero-carb (<1 g) whipped cream has just 3 simple ingredients! It comes together beautifully, billowy, light, and fluffy in minutes.
1 cup cold heavy cream or heavy whipping cream
2 tablespoons powdered stevia (or natural sweetener of choice)
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract (optional)
- Place the heavy cream, stevia (or sweetener of choice), and vanilla extract (or flavoring of choice) into your mixing bowl.
- If you are using an electric mixer, beat on medium-high for the perfect consistency. approximately 3-4 minutes.
- Watch for when soft peaks or stiff peaks form, whatever your preference. Be careful not to over-beat, it can separate and become grainy and eventually will turn to butter.
Use immediately or store in an airtight container for up to 24 hours. If you make it ahead of time, whisk again for 10 to 15 seconds before use.
Sweeten to taste. If you prefer it sweeter, you can add more stevia or if you are not sensitive, just regular powdered sugar.
Remember to look for heavy whipping cream or heavy cream. Do not use whipping cream. You want HEAVY. 😉 I know, it’s confusing!
