Variations

Make your stuffed bunny uniquely yours by experimenting with different fabrics, colors, and embellishments!

I used a lightweight but soft and sturdy opaque corduroy. Soft fabrics like cotton, fleece, or Minky are excellent choices for an extra cuddly feel.

For a more dainty look, linen or felt also work well. Or try using floral prints for an vintage-style bunny. Add other accessories ideas like a scarf, purse, or hat. You can also adjust the size by scaling the pattern up or down to create a whole family of bunnies.

For a personalized touch, customize it for your recipient with their favorite colors or the embroiderer’s initials. Tuck in a pretty card with one of these prayers for new parents printed on it. A handmade stuffed animal encourages imaginative play and reflects a heartfelt expression of love and thoughtfulness.

      1. May I ask what fabric you used for the bunny itself? I am not familiar with it, and I love the texture to it, I purchased the bundle and can’t wait to start!

        1. Hi Lori, I used a light to medium weight cream color corduroy. It’s best not to choose something too thin, or it may show the stuffing “lumps” a little. Have fun! 🙂
